“Petite Girafe Montessori Academy accepts children ages 30 months to 6 years
old for Primary programs and up to 12 years old for Early & After Care programs.”
We are committed to providing our students and staff a supportive and inclusive environment. Consideration
is given to currently enrolled students and siblings, needs of the family (early and after care), diversity,
classroom space availability, balancing of ages and genders, and the order in which an application is received.
SCHEDULE
5 DAYS A WEEK
Petite Girafe Montessori Academy annual tuition is divided into 12 monthly instalments.
Tuition is inclusive of nutritious snacks and daily enrichment activities (rotate seasonally).
Primary Program
Our primary classroom includes children ages 30 months to 6 years old. Mixed-age groups
allow older students to help teach and mentor younger students. This added dimension to
the learning inspires leadership and confidence.

Early & After Care
Our Early Care begins at 06h30 and After Care opens until 17h30
for children aged 30 months to 12 years old.
SATURDAY ONLY
Montessori cultivate self-reliance and independent thinking skills that most conventional teaching methods struggle to inculcate. This program is designed to help parents diversify their children’s learning experience on a part-time basis.
TUITIONS
Our annual tuition may be divided into monthly installments.
Tuition fees include nutritious snacks and daily enrichment activities (rotates seasonally).
Discounts available:
1) One-time payments
2) Siblings enrolled full-time at the same time
3) PGMA full-time employees
Tuition fees may be rebated through our participation in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) program. Parents may also be eligible to receive the Affordable Child Care Benefit.

Our programs accept children from 30 months of age. Applications accepted year round and enrolments happen at any time during the year.

One of the hallmarks of the Montessori method is an undisrupted learning plan. For this reason our curriculum is designed on a Five Days A Week basis. We encourage parents requiring part-time schedules to consider our Saturday Only program.
Yes. Each enrolment is required to stay for a minimum of 3 months.
Our school has 3 classrooms: Upper (25 children), Main (16 children), and Lower (20 children). The largest classroom and the outdoor play area exceed the minimum required space for licensing by ± 36%.
Absolutely. In fact this is one of the key components in our curriculum. We extend beyond classrooms to 2,200+ sqft. play area via Montessori Sports® led by certified staff. Each program enjoys 30-60 minutes (depending on program) active play time outdoors and more whenever weather permits.
Parents are responsible for transport arrangements to and from our Facility, except for children from Sunnyside Elementary and Southridge Schools in our Early & After Care programs.
We provide nutritious snacks for all students, included in the cost of tuition. The Hot Lunch program is available through a reputable company at additional fees. Parents are welcomed to use the service or pack lunch themselves.
No. We are open year round except for statutory holidays, planned professional development (Pro-D) days, and one week in Spring and Winter. Please see Important Dates here.
